Ageless Mindset- Living Agelessly
I have been telling clients for years that the reason their back hurts has nothing to do with age. I will hear almost on a daily basis " corrie my knees hurt, or my back hurts, or my bunions are getting larger…but you know I am old" Why do we have this belief that as we get older it goes hand in hand with our bodies falling apart. How many of you think the above picture is an accurate depiction of what it means to get older? Dr. Christiane Northrup is a leading woman's doctor and pioneer in women's health. I recommend reading her words of wisdom on her blog or in her books. She is on a mission to change the way we view getting older. Yes we all are getting older, which is an opportunity to increase our value and competence! Decline and Decay is not inevitable despite what you have been taught!
Dr. Christiane Northrup argues that our thoughts and beliefs about aging will determine how we age!
"Aging is optional- getting older is inevitable "

So… just like what I tell all of my clients every day, Move your body, get outside and go for a walk, do your prescribed exercises and Live a Healthfully, radiantly, joyful life. When you get up from a chair, don't use your arms to push you up, use your legs. When you get up from the floor, do the same thing use your legs. It is harder and we get used to making things easier, but if we want our bodies to maintain their function and posture we must use them every day! Together let's stop dreading getting older and let us remember that our bodies are continually rejuvenating at the cellular level, there is no reason we can't feel our best as we go through this journey of life. Get outside and have some fun today, and then see how you feel!

In a large casserole add chopped cabbage to the bottom, then place the turkey and rice mixture, top with the can of soup, spreading it on top of the entire casserole, finally add a can of water. This week I went to lunch in Rancho Santa Fe at an adorable cafe named Thyme. Thyme specializes in fresh salads, soups, and other light fare. The thing that got me most excited was their bakery. They have a beautiful bakers rack filled with gorgeous homemade delights just like your Grandma would make. The bakers rack was filled with rustic pies, and cakes. One cake that caught my eye was an Orange Bundt Cake. I have an orange tree so I was inspired to come home and try to make it. I went to the internet in search of a recipe, and discovered one from all recipes.com that I altered a bit. Here it is.
